 VGM’s primary focus in government relations is
Federal issues. We also monitor issues at the state level impacting independent
home medical equipment, rehab and O&P providers. Working with State
and regional associations to support members, VGM provides speakers, educational
materials and lobbying support on key state issues.

Medicaid Resources:
As states struggle to balance their fiscal year budgets, funding for
state Medicaid programs is often at the crux of those decisions. Although
Medicaid is not the cause of the state budget crises (which are due to
declining state revenues), funding for the program is at risk because
it is a large and growing component of state budgets.
VGM is pleased to provide documents and other tools for homecare providers
