Mission POSSIBLE - Funding IS possible for qualified patients!

Posted on in Billing/Reimbursement

You chose to be in this industry to service the needs of the disabled and chronically ill. The objective is to provide medically necessary equipment and supplies to enable your customers to remain in their homes. The challenge is to obtain accurate and timely funding for these items.

The mission is to service your customers in a timely manner and receive payment for your services.

The mission is POSSIBLE, however, you must have the right gadgets (well actually Medicare resources) to successfully complete this mission. You won't have to climb the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa in Dubai), roll your car or break into the Kremlin but you will get your hands dirty (not literally) with live claim reviews.

In this mission you will be given all the necessary tools (resources and "gadgets") to ensure you will receive timely and accurate reimbursement for qualified customers of mobility and respiratory products.

This is a one day billing and reimbursement educational event that is providing education for DME suppliers whether in the mobility business (complex rehab and PMD) or the respiratory and general DME industry.

Dan and Ronda, VGM’s Reimbursement Team, will start off the day with educational information for the entire group.  Then there are breakout sessions in mobility or respiratory that includes more topic specific discussion and live claim reviews.  That’s right, the attendee will determine if the claim is payable.

Not only will you learn valuable information at this event, you will also earn 0.6 CEUs (accepted by RESNA for ATPs, OT and PT) and AARC credits for respiratory therapists.

The Mission Possible event is for billing and reimbursement staff, intake and CSRs, audit and compliance officers, supervisors and clinicians.
