New Pre-conference Workshops Kick Off Heartland Conference

Heartland Conference 2016 is less than two weeks away. In addition to three days of education, networking, entertainment and guaranteed lowest prices from exhibitors, attendees can also register for one of four new pre-conference workshops.

The workshops will take place on Monday, June 13, and will be led by industry experts presenting on retail and merchandising, sales and marketing, reimbursement training and how to use a revenue cycle worklist. 

Pre-conference workshops are not included with general Heartland Conference registration, and the fees vary based on the workshop. Seating is limited, so please register today by visiting the Heartland Conference website or clicking here.

Heartland Retail Summit – Monday, June 13, 9 a.m. - Noon

Retail experts Rob Baumhover and Jim Greatorex, along with some of VGM Retail’s vendor partners, will be packing the morning with practical tips, techniques and strategies for how to grow your business with retail.

Session topics include retail metrics, customer service training strategies, merchandising tips and innovative new products that will boost store traffic. This half-day session will be loaded with take-home ideas that can be implemented right away in your showroom. Find product offerings that will allure customers of all demographics.

This and the other retail sessions at Heartland will give you the map to starting a great cash business or growing the retail business that already exists.

Getting Started with Revenue Cycle Worklist – Monday, June 13, 9 a.m. – Noon

Join Brightree’s Kathy Quehl as she introduces Revenue Cycle Worklist (RCW) as a real-time suite of tools that will help your organization stay on top of denials, claims and patient collections. RCW will automate your denial process, helping you gain visibility and a workflow for this critical portion of your business. This tool will help you stay abreast of claims that are closing in on timely filing deadlines to help you reduce and minimize write offs.

Powerhouse Sales Training – Monday, June 13, 9 a.m. – Noon

Having presented at all 15 Heartland Conferences, Louis Feuer will lead this dynamic sales training program to address key sales and marketing issues important to every segment of your home care business.

Louis’ fast-paced program will offer continuous strategies for implementation and with the insight of a former referral source/customer and exciting lecturer. Take Louis’ experience back to your work setting. 

Mission Possible II at Heartland 2016 – Monday, June 13, 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

VGM’s reimbursement experts and secret agents, Ronda Buhrmester and Dan Fedor, have brought their explosive training program from the road to Heartland Conference. MP II Heartland will provide you with the resources to ensure you can obtain timely and accurate reimbursement for mobility and respiratory/general HME products.

If you accept this mission, you will be exposed to the most comprehensive, intense reimbursement training in the industry. 

VGM Education is authorized by IACET to offer .6 CEUs for this program. Attendees can receive up to six contact hours of Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care.
