No Such Thing as Too Much Education

Posted on in Education and Events

One of the idioms that Van Miller was often heard to say was, “There’s no such thing as too much customer service.” Over the years, that statement has become synonymous with all things VGM.

To paraphrase VGM’s late founder, “There no such thing as too much education.”

Van considered education to be extraordinarily important for those in the independent home medical equipment industry. So much so that nearly 20 years ago, VGM purchased the Heartland Conference, moved it from Kansas to our hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, and nurtured it to the point where it’s evolved into the flagship of VGM’s educational programs and become the go-to event for hundreds of VGM members to earn continuing education credits – credits necessary to retain their licenses, credentials, or certifications and to meet accreditation requirements.

Though Heartland Conference 2018 has passed, VGM continues to offer – as we do every year – a host of programs for our members around the country to learn, network with one another, and, if they’re not careful, have a bit of fun while they’re at it.

We suggest you explore the VGM and other industry educational offerings below. If you have questions about any of them, please contact us at 800-642-6065. And for those who attended this year’s Heartland Conference in June, we invite you to visit the article "Miss a Heartland Presentation? No Problem – We Recorded Some for You" elsewhere in this edition of Connect to learn about how you can view recordings of Heartland sessions you were not able to attend.
