Urge Your Legislators to Attend the CRT Expo, April 21, on Capitol Hill

Posted on in VGM News

NCART, United Spinal and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are again hosting a CRT Expo on Capitol Hill for legislators and their staff on April 21. They will have the opportunity to see CRT equipment, learn more about our industry and the people it affects and how this type of equipment is different than standard DME.

Thursday, April 21 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Cannon Building, Room 340 (Veterans’ Affairs Committee Room)

People with disabilities, clinicians, providers, manufacturers and other advocates will provide demonstrations, show different CRT products and answer questions at the top of each hour. Our two important bills, H.R.3229/S.2196, the amendment to stop Medicare from applying competitive bid rates to complex rehab wheelchairs and accessories, and H.R.1516/S.1013, the “Ensuring Access to Quality Complex Rehab Technology Act of 2015,” will also be discussed. Dan Fedor of U.S. Rehab and Tom Powers of VGM Government Relations will be at the expo to assist with the expo and lobby for our cause.
