The founding of VGM started with Van Miller’s vision to create a group purchasing organization for independent home medical providers. However, it took the respect, trust, and start-up money from two friends, John Deery Jr. and Jim Walsh, for the vision to become reality.
On Sept. 3, 1986, VGM & Associates incorporated and upon achieving their 200th member, the first manufacturer signed and the rest is history. Today VGM has more than 2,500 HME members with locations throughout the country.
