Boone Lockard Promoted to VP of HME, Respiratory, & Wellness

As the HME industry evolves with rising respiratory care needs, shifting reimbursement, and fast-moving wellness trends, leaders who understand both the clinical and operational realities of patient care are essential. VGM & Associates is pleased to announce that Boone Lockard has been promoted to Vice President of HME, Respiratory, & Wellness, a move that reflects VGM’s ongoing commitment to supporting members as they navigate changes in the industry.

Deep Roots in Respiratory and HME Care Leadership

Boone joined VGM in 2022 with extensive frontline experience as a respiratory therapist, caring for patients who needed life-sustaining equipment and support. With more than 16 years of experience spanning clinical practice, operations, billing, sales, and management, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the daily challenges faced by HME providers.

Boone's blend of clinical knowledge and business insight has already played a major role in helping VGM members strengthen their operations and explore new avenues for growth.

“HME is essential for so many, and our work makes a difference,” Boone shared. “I look forward to continuing to help members deliver excellent care to patients in my expanded role.”

Driving Long-Term Strategy for a Rapidly Changing Industry

In his new role, he will focus on building and executing a long-term plan designed to help VGM members thrive amid shifting reimbursement landscapes, growing care demands, and an industry that continues to evolve.

Lindy Tentinger, President of VGM & Associates, noted that Boone’s expertise will play a critical role in guiding members toward sustainable success. “His expertise gives us a significant advantage as we guide our members and show them a clear roadmap to success in an ever-evolving industry.”

With respiratory and wellness needs expanding nationwide, Boone's leadership will help ensure members are equipped with the strategies, tools, and partnerships they need to stay competitive and deliver exceptional patient care.

Building Strong Partnerships Across the Respiratory and Wellness Ecosystem

Boone’s track record of building meaningful relationships with providers and vendor partners has been instrumental in positioning VGM as a strategic leader in the respiratory space.

Before joining VGM, he served as a Key Account Manager on the vendor side, giving him firsthand insight into how technology, equipment, and supplier networks shape the future of care. This experience strengthened VGM's connections with providers and partners, creating new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Tyler Mahncke, Senior Vice President of Membership at VGM & Associates, notes, “Boone has helped VGM build key partnerships in the respiratory space, and his skill set supports our ongoing growth in HME, respiratory, and wellness.”

A Commitment to Members and the Future of Patient Care

At its core, Boone’s promotion represents what VGM stands for: people-first leadership that helps members adapt, grow, and deliver meaningful care. Whether providers are navigating new respiratory care demands or exploring wellness services, Boone is committed to helping them build strong, sustainable paths forward.
