Jay Bloomfield, Founder & CEO of Pinnacle Mobility

In southern California, Pinnacle Mobility is redefining what it means to make a meaningful impact in the world of complex rehab technology (CRT) and high-quality mobility equipment solutions.

Pinnacle Mobility was created with a clear mission: to provide exceptional complex rehab technology solutions with care, integrity, and attention to detail.

At the center of this work is Jay Bloomfield, a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Founder & CEO of Pinnacle Mobility, whose decade of industry experience and personal connection to mobility care shape everything the company stands for.

“We are focused on serving clients with compassion, being a trusted partner to therapists and referral sources, and building a company that families can feel confident working with throughout the entire equipment process,” states Bloomfield.

Rooted in Real-Life Experience

Bloomfield’s connection to the mobility industry is both professional and deeply personal. For more than 10 years, he has worked across the continuum of care collaborating with clients, clinicians, manufacturers, and payer sources to help individuals access the right custom mobility and seating solutions.

“I understand how important mobility equipment is not only for the client, but also for their family, caregivers, therapists, and community,” he says. “That perspective drives the way we are building Pinnacle Mobility.”

That perspective is further shaped by his wife, Chelsie Hill, a prominent advocate for wheelchair users, founder of the Rollettes wheelchair dance team, and a T-10 paraplegic herself. Through both his career and personal life, Bloomfield has seen firsthand how the right mobility equipment can transform someone’s quality of life.

In fact, this idea was beautifully illustrated on Bloomfield and Chelsie’s wedding day, when Chelsie surprised him by walking down the aisle using leg braces and a walker. Read more about this inspirational and heartwarming moment here

Built on Purpose: Why Pinnacle Mobility Was Created

Pinnacle Mobility was officially formed less than a year ago, but the foundation behind it is anything but new.

Bloomfield launched the company after recognizing an opportunity to build a more client-centered mobility provider that prioritizes:

  • Putting client experience first
  • Clinical collaboration with therapists and care teams
  • High-quality complex rehab and adaptive mobility equipment
  • Responsiveness and long-term service
  • A simplified, lower-overhead business model focused on outcomes

Rather than being driven by layers of complexity, Pinnacle Mobility was designed to stay agile and personal, ensuring every client receives the attention and mobility equipment solutions they truly need.

“Complex rehab technology is not just about providing a wheelchair or piece of equipment,” Bloomfield explains. “It is about helping people regain independence, confidence, and access to their everyday lives.”

A Personalized Approach to Mobility Solutions

At its core, Pinnacle Mobility is about more than equipment; it’s about impact.

Bloomfield’s personal and professional experiences continue to guide the company’s direction, reinforcing the importance of getting every detail right not just for the client, but for the broader support system around them.

“My “why” is helping people access the equipment they need to live with more independence, freedom, and dignity,” states Bloomfield. “In this industry, the details matter. The right chair, the right seating system, the right adjustments, and the right follow-through can impact someone’s comfort, health, confidence, and ability to participate in daily life.”

The Peak of Care in Mobility Equipment Service

Pinnacle Mobility: The peak of care in mobility equipment.

Pinnacle Mobility’s tagline, “The peak of care in mobility equipment,” reflects a commitment to raising the standard of service in the CRT space.

As a VGM member, Pinnacle Mobility represents what’s possible when expertise and purpose align. Though the company is newer, its impact is already being felt through the lives it helps improve every day.

From restoring independence to enabling participation in everyday life, Pinnacle Mobility is helping redefine what quality mobility care looks like in the healthcare continuum.
