Sleep Awareness Week: Discover VGM's Total Sleep Services

As we celebrate Sleep Awareness Week, it's the perfect time to highlight the importance of quality sleep and the innovative solutions offered by VGM.

Sleep is essential for our health and well-being, yet millions of people struggle with sleep disorders like sleep apnea. Each year, approximately 6 million Americans are diagnosed with sleep apnea1, a condition that affects around 30 million people in the U.S. alone1. Globally, nearly 1 billion adults suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).2 Untreated sleep apnea can lead to serious health complications, including heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Quality sleep is vital for physical and mental health. It allows the body and mind to recharge, supports healthy brain function, and helps maintain overall health. Without enough sleep, individuals may experience impaired concentration, memory issues, and increased risk of chronic health conditions.

VGM has launched a groundbreaking program designed to address the growing need for effective sleep health services so healthcare providers can enhance patient outcomes while optimizing their operations, reduce costs, and increase revenue.

  • Reduce Operating Expenses: Outsourcing clinical services, including respiratory therapy, to VGM allows providers to offset costs and increase efficiency without the need to hire additional clinicians.
  • Increase Resupply Revenue: VGM's resupply services help providers maintain a steady revenue stream by ensuring patients receive their necessary supplies on time.
  • Enhance Patient Outcomes: Improved patient adherence to treatment plans leads to better health outcomes, which can reduce the overall cost of care and increase patient satisfaction.

VGM's Total Sleep ServicesLet Us Do The Work For You

VGM’s Total Sleep Services offer innovative, efficient, and personalized solutions for mask fitting, CPAP machine setup & fulfillment, compliance, resupply, returns, and asset recovery.

  1. AI Mask Fitting: HME sends a link to the patient to complete a scan. The patient shares their sleeping habit information, and the scan is completed with a camera from any device. The patient receives a recommended mask and size in seconds.
2-minute process with 97% accuracy reduces clinician time by 15 minutes

  2. Machine / Shipping: Licensed professionals, including respiratory therapists, complete machine pressure settings. The machine and supplies are drop-shipped directly to the patient (FitPack can be included if AI mask fitting was not an option). This ensures reliable service, even during disruptions.
Majority of the U.S. population covered in 3 days or less

  3. Patient Setup is Initiated: Sleep coaching and patient education for using the device begin after delivery has been made. The "why" behind the treatment is explained, and an onboarding packet and education are provided.

  4. Sleep coaching and compliance: 48 hours after the patient receives the machine, VGM’s sleep coaches begin daily monitoring to review usage and clinical efficacy.
Currently operating up to 22% increase in patient compliance in the first 90 days

  5. Evaluation - 90 Days and Beyond: After 90 days, VGM sleep coaches assess patient compliance and guide them to the appropriate next steps in their sleep journey. If the patient is compliant, HME moves to resupply outreach and enrolls the patient in an adherence program. If the patient is not compliant, the process moves to asset recovery.
    • Resupply: Supplies are picked, packed, and shipped. This helps reduce inventory carrying costs and the overhead costs. Detailed reporting and analytics are provided.
99.18% order fill rate and 99.85% order accuracy rate

    • Asset Recovery: A box and shipping label are sent directly to non-compliant patients for ease of return, increasing machine recovery rate without the hassle.
Assets recovery rate at 85% for non-compliant patients
