Vendor Spotlight: Rifton

Published in Member Communities on June 26, 2019

U.S. Rehab is excited to introduce Rifton as this month’s highlighted manufacturer. A valuable partner of U.S. Rehab and VGM, Rifton is known throughout the industry for offering the most adjustable and durable adaptive equipment available, including a wide variety of gait trainers, lift and transfer devices, special needs chairs, standers, adaptive tricycles and more to both children and adults. Rifton works hard for VGM and U.S. Rehab members by helping them overcome challenges with top quality services and products.

One of the many reasons that Rifton is a highly valued partner of U.S. Rehab is because their products are not only manufactured to meet the client’s individual needs, but they are built to meet the needs of the therapist as well. “Our innovative and functional designs are the direct result of therapist feedback. Each component is thoughtfully designed and engineered to meet the needs of both therapists and clients. And we are constantly upgrading our products to bring you and your clients the opportunity for better results.” Read more about the design of Rifton products by clicking here.

One of Rifton’s products include the Pacer, which is a therapist-inspired specialized gait training system. The Pacer helps clients “achieve proper positioning and provides the dynamic weight-bearing and weight-shifting needed for a more natural gait pattern and easier stepping.” Rifton just recently launched a redesigned line of small and mini pacers. The small size supports dynamic vertical and lateral movement, and it also accepts the popular multi-position saddle. You can learn more about these new designs by clicking here.

Not only does Rifton manufacture top-quality products, but they also offer a wide array of resources and services to our members. These include tutorials, videos, webinars, best practices, blog posts, etc., that keep customers, therapists and providers informed about their products. Rifton also plays an important role in the annual VGM Heartland Conference, especially for local families in Iowa. For the last four years, Rifton has collaborated with VGM, Variety – the Children’s Charity and MercyOne to donate their adaptive tricycles to children with disabilities. At the 2019 Heartland Conference, four kids were given these tricycles that were specifically designed to meet their individuals needs. Click here to read the full article.

U.S. Rehab President Greg Packer states, “This event is always a moment that stands out in attendees’ minds during the Heartland Conference, and U.S. Rehab is grateful to Rifton for the large part they play in this moment by providing these kids with a device that allows them to live and play independently.”

For years, Rifton has always been a valuable vendor partner of U.S. Rehab and VGM, and that is because of the excellent services and high-quality products that they provide our members every day. For more information about Rifton, please visit https://www.rifton.com/.
