Stephanie Robinson, Director of Billing and Reimbursement, VGM & Associates

VGM & Associates continues to invest in the people and expertise that make a real difference to VGM members. With the appointment of Stephanie Robinson as Director of Billing and Reimbursement, VGM is strengthening its ability to support home medical equipment (HME) providers navigating increasing pressure across billing, compliance, and reimbursement.

With more than 25 years of experience in the HME industry, Robinson brings deep knowledge in revenue cycle management (RCM), reimbursement and billing strategies, compliance, and operational performance, all critical areas as providers face a more complex and demanding healthcare landscape.

Addressing Today’s Billing and Reimbursement Challenges

Billing and reimbursement remain some of the most significant operational hurdles for HME providers, whether it’s navigating payer requirements, managing documentation, or keeping up with compliance changes.

Robinson’s role is centered on making those challenges more manageable, helping VGM members to:

  • Simplify and strengthen billing and reimbursement workflows
  • Improve cash flow and HME revenue cycle management
  • Navigate payer policies, audits, and compliance demands
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, consistency, and automation

Her hands-on industry experience allows her to translate complex reimbursement challenges into practical, actionable solutions that providers can implement within their organizations.

Deep Industry Experience in HME and Revenue Cycle Management

Robinson’s background reflects the same challenges many providers face.

Before joining VGM, Robinson held key leadership roles at Dynamic Healthcare Services and DASCO Home Medical Equipment, where she:

  • Led a remote PAP program during the public health emergency
  • Served as Chief Compliance Officer and Quality Assurance Manager, overseeing credentialing, contracts, and compliance
  • Helped streamline authorization processes through standardization and automation

This unique combination of compliance expertise and operational leadership positions Robinson to support providers across the full reimbursement lifecycle.

Turning Complexity into Actionable Solutions for VGM Members

“Billing and reimbursement are among the biggest operational pressures providers are managing today, and Stephanie brings the real-world experience to help our members work through those challenges more effectively,” said Tyler Mahncke, Senior Vice President of Membership at VGM & Associates. “She understands the day-to-day realities of reimbursement and can help turn complexity into practical solutions that improve performance and support better patient care.”

“As billing and reimbursement pressures continue to intensify, our responsibility is to ensure members have the expertise, guidance, and resources they need not only for today’s challenges, but for what lies ahead,” said Lindy Tentinger, President of VGM & Associates. “Bringing Stephanie to VGM reflects our commitment to supporting providers now and in the future as they navigate an increasingly demanding reimbursement environment.”

Robinson’s appointment strengthens VGM’s ability to deliver:

  • Expert guidance on home medical equipment billing and reimbursement
  • Support for compliance, audits, and regulatory changes
  • Insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency

For VGM members, this means greater confidence in navigating reimbursement challenges and more time focused on delivering quality patient care.

Supporting Growth, Compliance, and Better Patient Outcomes

Behind every claim, every workflow, and every compliance check is a team working hard to deliver care to patients who depend on it.

VGM’s continued investment in expertise reflects a simple belief: when providers are supported, patient care is stronger.

By bringing in leaders like Stephanie Robinson, VGM is reinforcing its commitment to helping members adapt, grow, and keep moving forward—no matter how complex the landscape becomes.
