VGM Calls for 2023 Heartland Conference Speakers

Published in Member Communities on October 17, 2022

HeartlandSubmissions for speaker proposals are now being accepted.

VGM is now accepting proposals from prospective speakers for its annual Heartland Conference.

The Heartland Conference committee is looking for speakers to offer their knowledge on a variety of topics related to the HME industry. Session topics can include HME, complex rehab, respiratory, accessibility, billing and reimbursement, business operations, business and leadership strategies, retail, sales and marketing, regulatory and audits, and much more.

“The call for speakers for Heartland Conference 2023 is now open, and we could not be more excited,” said Kayla Mahler, Heartland education chair. “Our education lineup last year was such a success, and our goal is to always continue to improve from the year before. We want to cover as many topics as possible—all thought leaders and industry experts are welcome to submit their sessions to speak.”

Heartland Conference will take place June 12-14, 2023, at the Waterloo Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa. Speakers will be able to present in front of hundreds of attendees from across the country from the HME, respiratory, complex rehab, and accessibility space. They’ll have opportunities not only to share their expertise with attendees, but also to build professional relationships and network with individuals from all parts of the industry.

“The opportunities are endless for presenters at Heartland,” said Mahler. “Getting together all in one place and sharing knowledge between peers to help one another—that truly embodies the spirit of the VGM community as a whole.”

Speaker proposals for Heartland Conference are due Dec. 16, 2022. To submit your session, visit www.vgmheartland.com/speak and complete the online form. Potential speakers may contact Kayla Mahler at kayla.mahler@vgm.com or 319-274-6515.
