Saying Goodbye to Mal Mixon

VGM mourns the loss of an HME titan. Mal Mixon was a maverick leader in the creation of the HME industry along with others, including our founder Van G. Miller. Mal was also a supporter of our VGM membership community. In addition to his decades of service to the home healthcare market, Mal made an impact in his community and beyond, supporting many causes. Importantly, Mal led, developed, and inspired a generation of HME leaders who over the years impacted all corners of the HME industry.  Finally, it is important to note that Mal was an American hero, having served our nation in the U.S. Marine Corps, including service in Vietnam, attaining the rank of Captain. Mal passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
