Published in Government Relations on June 05, 2026

On June 4, 2026, CMS updated the bid preparation resources on the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding?(CBIC) website, commencing Phase 1 of the pre-bidding supplier awareness program for Round 2028 of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program. The CBIC website provides several resources about the program, including a bid calculator identifying the lead item and calculating the impact the lead item price has on the non-lead items in the category.

Be sure to review all of the materials closely if you are considering submitting a bid for Round 2028. For the materials and more resources regarding Phase 1, visit the CBIC website here
