Published in Government Relations on February 20, 2026

AAHomecare announced earlier this week that John Quinlan of Quinlan’s Pharmacy in New York has been selected as the recipient of this year’s Van G. Miller Award

John QuinlanJohn has been a valued VGM member for many years, and his leadership within the DMEPOS community has made a meaningful impact on patients, providers, and the industry as a whole. His commitment to quality care, patient access, and industry advocacy consistently sets him apart.

His work reflects the same passion and dedication that inspired Van G. Miller himself—integrity, service, and the drive to make care more accessible for everyone. As a long-time champion for the DMEPOS community, John embodies the values and spirit that make this award such a powerful extension of our founder’s legacy.

Beth Bowen, Executive Director of NEMEP, shared:

“If passion for the industry were a sport, John would be MVP every single year! His leadership with NEMEP in his home state is next-level, and I’m pretty sure he runs on an endless supply of energy — the Energizer Bunny has nothing on him!

John is one of those rare gems you can call anytime, for anything, and he’s already three steps ahead of you. Congratulations on this incredibly well-deserved award! NEMEP is lucky to have you leading the charge, and I’m even luckier to call you a friend.

Way to go, Mr. President — you make it look easy!”

Margo Colarossi, Regional Account Manager of VGM, added:

“John is the kind of leader who shows up—every time, for everyone. His passion, relentless advocacy, and genuine care for both patients and providers have made a lasting impact on the HME community. Whether leading at the state or national level, John brings energy, integrity, and a ‘never give up’ spirit that continues to move this industry forward and inspire those around him.

There is no surprise that he is named the 2026 Van G. Miller Homecare Champion! Way to go John, and thank you for all you do!”

Congratulations to John Quinlan on this well-deserved honor!
