Chris Weeks

VP of HR, VieMed

Chris Weeks is an “Employer of Choice” Human Capital Executive with over 22 years of leadership experience growing and managing HR teams. Chris currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for VieMed, Inc and a key member of the executive leadership team.  VieMed is the nation’s largest specialized provider of in-home respiratory care, leading the industry with its innovative, patient first approach.  In his current role, Chris is responsible for leading VieMed’s people capital strategy, leadership development programs, and overall HR operations for the organization's many divisions. As the VP of Human Resources, Chris has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the Company to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its employees.  Chris has worked with leaders across the organization to create an agile HR organization that reflects VieMed’s dynamic needs.  One of Chris’ major contributions as VP of HR has been opening an important dialogue between VieMed and its employees through a comprehensive annual survey that engages employees at all levels and serves as the foundation for future change and progress.

Previously, Chris held HR leadership positions in the manufacturing, healthcare and financial sectors, transforming human resources from its traditional administrative role into engaging with strategic business partners, while driving organizational growth through maximizing employee potential.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Mississippi College and earned his SHRM-SCP certification in 2019.
