VGM and Trace Medical have expanded their long-standing partnership through an exclusive program agreement that broadens access to advanced respiratory rentals, biomedical services, and dialysis rentals nationwide.

This agreement reinforces VGM’s commitment to connecting members with scalable, reliable solutions that support growth, efficiency, and long-term success in an evolving healthcare landscape.

Expanded Access to Respiratory, Biomedical, and Dialysis Rental Solutions

Founded in 2004, Trace Medical is the national leader in ventilation rentals and biomedical services throughout the continuum of care, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, hospice, and HME providers.

Through this exclusive program, VGM members can now offer Trace Medical’s comprehensive portfolio of advanced respiratory rental equipment, dialysis rental services, and biomedical support across the country. The agreement, effective April 1, 2026, represents the first program of its kind available to the entire VGM membership community.

As providers face tightening reimbursement and rising operational demands, access to flexible rental options and outsourced biomedical services can be a critical tool for maintaining high standards of patient care while managing costs.

“We are very pleased with the continued growth of our relationship with VGM and its membership,” states Greg Apostolou, Chief Executive Officer of Trace Medical. “With ever-increasing industry margin pressure, our rental and biomedical service solutions are a natural fit for HME providers, and the VGM relationship allows seamless and efficient market access to provide meaningful value on a national scale.”

A Proven Partnership Built for Today’s HME Challenges

VGM and Trace Medical have collaborated since 2018 to support the needs of the HME  market. This expanded agreement strengthens that alignment, ensuring Trace Medical’s services remain accessible as the company accelerates its national expansion into biomedical services and dialysis rentals.

“Strengthening our alignment with VGM ensures that our expanding value propositions are accessible to a broader network of providers, while continuing to support the industry through VGM’s important legislative initiatives,” says Elliot Campbell, chief commercial officer of Trace Medical. “As we accelerate our national expansion into biomedical services and dialysis rentals, VGM’s partnership will be instrumental in enabling us to deliver high-quality biomedical services across the country—addressing a critical and growing need within the industry.”

Driving Operational Efficiency and Long-Term Value for VGM Members

For VGM members, this agreement delivers practical solutions designed to reduce burden, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth.

"The renewal of our relationship with Trace Medical is a testament to the value and impact of our partnership,” said Jeff Bowman, SVP of Vendor Partner Strategy, VGM & Associates. “Not only does Trace Medical continue to deliver exceptional benefits to our membership, but their expanded solutions in biomedical and dialysis services further strengthen our collective capabilities. This collaboration drives innovation and creates new opportunities for both Trace Medical and VGM, ensuring we remain at the forefront of healthcare solutions for our membership."

Through this exclusive agreement, VGM continues to expand the tools and partnerships available to its members, helping HME providers stay competitive while maintaining a strong focus on patient care.

Supporting the Future of Home Medical Equipment

As the HME industry evolves, providers need trusted partners who understand both the clinical and operational realities of today’s healthcare environment. The expanded VGM and Trace Medical agreement reflects a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and measurable member value.

"Trace Medical has been a trusted vendor partner of VGM since 2018, and we are excited to renew our relationship,” said Lindy Tentinger, President of VGM & Associates. “For our members, this partnership means dependable access to innovative solutions, from ventilator rentals to Trace’s newly established dialysis program, that help them operate more efficiently and better serve their patients.”

Together, VGM and Trace Medical are helping providers address today’s challenges while building a stronger foundation for the future of respiratory care, biomedical services, dialysis support, and home-based healthcare delivery.
