The VGM Government Relations team is excited to announce Patient Voices: Access to HME Matters, a new way for patients, providers, vendors, caregivers, and industry partners to share their experiences with home medical equipment.
Every story matters.
We are collecting real-life experiences from patients and HME providers, both challenges and successes, to demonstrate the critical role HME plays in improving health, independence, and quality of life. These stories help put a human face on policy discussions and provide valuable insight as we work with members of Congress, regulators, and payers to improve access, quality, and outcomes across the HME community.
"The most powerful advocacy tool we have is a real story,” said Ike Isaacson, SVP of Government and Regulatory Relations, VGM Group. “Data and statistics are important, but it’s the experiences of patients, caregivers, and providers that truly demonstrate the impact HME has on people’s lives. Whether your story highlights a challenge or a success, we want those voices to be heard."
Stories submitted through Patient Voices may be used in advocacy efforts, including sharing with members of Congress and their staff, to help demonstrate how HME impacts the lives of patients and the providers who serve them.
Anyone can submit a story. Whether you're a patient, caregiver, provider, vendor, or advocate, your voice can help educate policymakers and strengthen our advocacy efforts.
To protect privacy, all submissions will be reviewed before being posted publicly on the website.
