VGM Government Relations Launches State Payer Resource Hub for DMEPOS Providers

Published in Government Relations on July 29, 2026

Navigating state payer requirements can be a complex and time-consuming process for durable medical equipment, prosthetic, orthotic, and supplies (DMEPOS) providers. To help simplify access to critical information, VGM Government Relations has launched a new State Payer Resources page designed to serve as a centralized hub for state-specific payer and regulatory resources.

This resource page brings together key information frequently used by DMEPOS providers, including:

  • Medicaid policy manuals
  • Provider enrollment resources
  • DMEPOS licensure requirements
  • State Medicaid contacts and websites
  • Links to state DME associations

By consolidating these resources into one location, providers can more quickly locate the information needed to support compliance, enrollment activities, and day-to-day business operations.

In addition to regulatory and payer resources, the page includes direct links to state DME associations across the country, helping providers identify local advocacy, educational, and networking opportunities available in their area.

The State Payer Resources page is intended to be a practical reference tool for suppliers seeking quick access to information across multiple states. Because state Medicaid policies, manuals, and regulations are subject to change and may be interpreted differently by state agencies, managed care organizations, contractors, and other stakeholders, providers should verify requirements directly with the appropriate entities when making business, billing, enrollment, or compliance decisions.
