Why This Change Benefits You
In May, VGM launched the Vendor Partner Update (VPU) module in our members-only portal—significantly enhancing how vendor content is shared.
Key advantages:
- Always-on visibility: Members can access your updates anytime, not just when an email is sent.
- Improved experience: A centralized, searchable portal replaces long, hard-to-navigate email attachments.
- Faster publishing: Streamlined submissions make it easier and quicker to get your content live.
We’ll also continue a monthly email newsletter highlighting key updates such as new partnerships, pricing changes, product launches, promotions, contract updates, and other timely news.
Together, the portal and newsletter create a focused, high-impact way to keep your brand in front of our members.
What You Should Do
- Submit content every month. Consistency builds awareness and keeps your brand top of mind.
- Deadlines remain the same.
- One submission, multiple channels. Select all applicable channels—no duplicate submissions required.

Best Practices
- Submit content monthly for maximum exposure.
- Portal content runs for one month, with the option to extend up to three months.
- Lead with value/benefit. Focus on business impact—ROI, reimbursement, efficiency—not just product features.
FAQ
Are vendors included on email distribution lists?
No. Vendor partners are not included on our member email distribution lists. Our emails to our membership may contain pricing updates, pricing sheets, and content from other vendor partners, and many of the links direct to our members-only portal. Because we’re unable to provide access to only individual vendor content within the portal or the email, we do not add vendor partners to these lists.
Can I see my submission before it goes live?
Submissions are reviewed and published each Monday. We will review content to make sure that it is being marketed to the correct channel, proof for grammar and punctuation, and make sure a picture is attached. If we have questions about your submission, we will ask.
Can I log into the portal to see my page? I don’t remember my login.
Vendor partners do not have portal access. The portal contains members-only content, including vendor pricing. Public resources are available on the Vendor Partner Resources page without a login.
