A Note from the VP, Jim Greatorex June 2022: Heartland Wrap-Up

Published in Home Modifications on June 22, 2022

Heartland 2022 was a big success!

It was great seeing so many members, colleagues, and partners new and old in-person! The educational components were spot on, we had some excellent networking, and a lot of fun and laughs. Sending out a big shout out to our home access speakers, Jim Bland from Seniors Home Services for his great retail sales training double session, Jared Cheveaux for his sharing how JTEK’s award-winning showroom has transformed his business, and Robert G. from Bestbath for his seasoned look at what successful home access companies do and where great opportunities await. We also had two great panel discussions with Cindi Petito, OTRL from Paradigm; Chris Rollins, President of Build Spective; and Jill Faurver, who leads the home access division of HOMELINK, joining Mark Richman for a great session. We also had Chuck Williams from Williams Bro’s, Todd Bick from Harmar, and James Philpot from SPAN/Savaria join me for an excellent session on growing your business during challenging times.

The hog roast was excellent, the fireworks were mind blowing again, and we had an excellent Midwestern experience at the "Farewell at the Farm" event on Wednesday. Many thanks go out to our corporate partners who exhibited and the many VGMers who made it all possible. Another great memory was made!

We now turn our attention to our Building Opportunities Summit scheduled for Nov. 10-12 in Tampa, FL. We are finalizing the agenda for that event in the next few weeks and registration will open sometime in July, so stay tuned for that. The second half of 2022 promises to continue to bring much opportunity, growth, and along with that, challenges, for our industry. We look forward to continue working with LAH members to meet those challenges and promote our members as the trusted source for professional home access needs. There are many great projects in the works, so stay tuned ras we work to bring you more great business opportunities,

Happy Summer, and thanks for your membership!
