Jim Greatorex Presenting at Heartland

Heartland Conference 2021 starts in just a few weeks, and Live at Home is thrilled to offer our members our excellent lineup of education and training. Here’s what you won’t want to miss.

Live at Home Installer Training

We are excited to bring you six different installer training sessions from five of our manufacturers, Span America, EZ-ACCESS, Entrematic, Harmar, and Bestbath. Attendees can choose to attend any or all of these installer training courses. Full details on the Live at Home Installer Training sessions can be found here.

Accessibility Track

This year, our Accessibility Track at Heartland Conference includes a lineup of both in-person and on-demand courses, including a home access industry update, a panel on lessons learned from 2020, a panel on the future of home accessibility, and the good, bad, and ugly of bathroom modifications. You also won’t want to miss our two Heartland at Home sessions, Build a Strong Foundation in Home Modification for Aging in Place and Status of Legislation to Increase Funding for Home Modifications.

The Home Accessibility Industry is hitting a pivotal turning point in 2021. COVID-19 has brought new attention to accessibility, aging in place, and senior housing. In many cases, older adults want to stay in their home as long as they possibly can. They can age in place when home modifications are completed to help their houses be more accessible. This new demand is incredibly exciting for VGM Live at Home and our membership.

Is your business prepared for growth? If not, you should be making preparations now. During the Home Access Industry Update, Jim Greatorex will discuss exciting updates to the home access industry, including some new opportunities that are in the works for the Live at Home Select members. What will the home access market be like in five years? The aging population is not slowing down. The opportunity for growth in the home access industry is only going to increase. You’ll want to attend the panel on the Future of Home Accessibility Industry to hear perspectives of where the market is going and what you should do now to prepare for the future.

Heartland’s 20th anniversary is sure to be memorable, from the education, to networking, fireworks, and social events. It’s not too late to register! Go to vgmheartland.com to register or for more details.
