Advancing the Industry | Home Access Survey

Published in Home Modifications on July 16, 2024

As a recognized thought leader with over 30 years of experience as a contractor and advocate for home modifications for accessibility and aging place, Louis Tenenbaum is asking for assistance in developing a new app that will help advance the home access industry.

HomesRenewed Ventures is a technology company dedicated to helping Americans age in place. The company has received over $2 million in research funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to develop an app for quality home safety modifications.

Home safety and reliability are crucial for aging in place, yet they are often overlooked. Mr. Tenenbaum believes his product will drive substantial growth in home modifications among the older population. This will result in reduced falls, suffering, and healthcare costs while enhancing joy, dignity, and respect for the decision to age in place. Research on the projects, budgets, and conditions of homes (where modifications are implemented) is vital for the NIA funding.
