Home Accessibility Education and Training at the Building Opportunities Summit

Published in Home Modifications on July 21, 2022

Home accessibility and aging-in-place education and training is hard to come by. As an industry that is rapidly growing and an aging population that’s not slowing down, VGM Live at Home is launching a new conference, specifically tailored for companies in the home accessibility industry.

The Building Opportunities Summit is being held Nov. 10-12, 2022, in Tampa, FL. This two-day conference is one of the first in the industry to offer general sessions and installer training from top manufacturers.

“I’m excited to bring the Building Opportunities Summit to our Live at Home members,” said Jim Greatorex, vice president of VGM Live at Home. “At the Summit, we will discuss ways that we can define the industry, professionalize it, and together be the trusted source for the U.S. market. There will be two full days of great content that will benefit executives and managers, along with installer training from our leading manufacturers for your techs. Come network with 100 of your colleagues in Tampa.”

The Building Opportunities Summit features Installation Training with hands-on workshops with Entrematic, Harmar, EZ-ACCESS, and Bestbath as well as additional general sessions, including:

  • Retail Sales Training: Creating a High Margin Retail Home Access Sales Program, presented by Jim Bland, CEO, Seniors Home Services
  • 5 Common Mistakes We See Small Business Make, presented by Steve Dawson, CEO, Harmar
