Heartland Fireworks

You belong at VGM’s Heartland Conference this summer (June 13-15, 2022) if you are involved in the HME industry.  Get there.

Let’s face it, after two years of a pandemic, isolation, workforce disruptions, supply chain constraints and recalls, we are all a bit dazed.  We’re tired, anxious, frustrated, and languishing.  Sure, we’ve gotten through it. We adjusted. We zigged where we used to zag. We persevered.  And most of us have been fortunate enough to achieve results for which we should be proud.

But the soul needs nourishment. Human connection is essential to our well-being. Friends, fellowship and laughter fill our bucket.  Heartland will help you recharge.  You’ll love every moment of Heartland; you’ll leave fulfilled and with renewal of spirit.

The arguments against coming are strong. Staff shortages. Heavy workloads. Too much to do and too little time to do it.  All are valid, but none of those barriers to Heartland nourishes your soul.

Fireworks will light the Iowa sky. Experts will teach, coach, and encourage. Beer will pour, cookies will be freshly baked and eaten in abundance. Product innovations will be on display.  Old friends will extend a hand and a big smile. Ideas will be widely shared and debated. New friends will welcome you and lean in (as much as you need this, they too need you to be there.) Did I mention Waterloo has a newly renovated convention center too?

The majority of us desperately need to be recharged.  We need to belong to something bigger than the four walls of our office.  The power of human connection is the answer.  I dare say there is no place you can go where you’ll see more industry friends, be warmed by more smiles, engage in more conversations and heal your languishing soul more than in Waterloo, Iowa this June at the Heartland Conference.  Find a way to say yes, I promise you’ll be glad you did.
