Don WhitneyMeet Don Whitney, COO and CCO of Inland Medical and Rehab! Don has been a VGM member since 2012. We asked Don some questions about his role at Inland Medical and Rehab, his background, how they take care of their customers, and what it means to him to serve in this industry.

What is your primary focus at Inland Medical and Rehab?

Don works closely with each team member of Inland Medical and Rehab to ensure that each individual is using their particular strengths and talents in their dedicated positions. This ensures patient satisfaction, which is the company’s main focus.

How did you get into the healthcare industry?

After majoring in philosophy and graduating from Gonzaga University, Don’s interest in healthcare sparked. He furthered his education at SCC where he graduated with an AAS degree in Nursing and became licensed as a Registered Nurse. He worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Deaconess Hospital, and soon he decided to shift his focus to the home care field. He chose to come to Inland Medical and Rehab to run and operate the business, putting both his philosophy and nursing degrees to task.

How does Inland Medical and Rehab value their customers?

Don said, "At Inland Medical and Rehab, you are not just a customer, but a friend. When one of our clients pass away, we grieve just as if they were family. We go above and beyond to listen and care for our clients. We have an open door, and clients are welcome to call and ask for me personally if they have any concerns, and they do not have to “jump through hoops” to get to the top."

What is your “why?”

Don is dedicated to serving the patient with superior products at an affordable price. His greatest joy comes from seeing how the services Inland Medical and Rehab provides changes people’s lives for the better!
