Senate Dear Colleague Letter on Power Seat Elevation and Standing Systems Begins to Circulate

Published in Government Relations and Regulatory Assistance on September 22, 2022

DearCollea

The ball keeps rolling for CRT. Just days after a House sign-on letter regarding power seat elevation and standing systems started circulating, one was also introduced in the Senate. The Senate letter, led by Sens. Duckworth (D-IL), Blackburn (R-TN), and Casey (D-PA), is currently open for senators to sign through Sept. 30.

It is extremely important that all CRT advocates act and email their senators and representatives asking them to sign these letters. Both the Senate letter and the House letter are only taking signatures for a limited time. Do not miss the opportunity to have your voice  heard. For additional information on the power seat elevation and power standing systems, please visit www.protectmymobility.org

Now is the time to take action!

Please reach out to your representatives to ask them to sign the Dear Colleague letters, which request that CMS advance Medicare coverage for power seat elevation systems and urge them to promptly move forward with the process for power standing systems.

Please email your member of Congress today and encourage other advocates to do the same! Thank you for your time and effort to ensure Medicare coverage of this important technology!
