Jeff Bowman

VGM & Associates is pleased to announce that Jeff Bowman has joined VGM & Associates as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Bowman brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, relationships, and more to VGM from his more than three decades of experience in the healthcare and home medical equipment (HME) industries, including 18 years with McKesson Medical-Surgical, where he held multiple leadership roles. Most notably, he led McKesson’s HME distribution business for ten years, driving significant growth and earning recognition as Senior Sales Leader of the Year three times for his leadership and results. He later served as President of RestorixHealth Post-Acute Services, an HME business focused on wound care and related supplies. Most recently, he has provided advisory services to leading healthcare distribution and technology companies.

In his new role at VGM, Bowman will be instrumental in strengthening vendor relationships, enhancing strategic partnerships, and supporting the VGM & Associates team in achieving long-term goals. His deep industry knowledge and collaborative experience with many of VGM’s vendor partners make him uniquely positioned to drive value across the organization.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jeff Bowman to our Associates team at VGM,” stated Barry Thwaits, Executive Vice President of Customer Success, VGM & Associates. “Jeff brings a unique understanding of the industry that will greatly benefit our members and vendor partners. His deep insight into what matters most to our vendor partners will be invaluable in helping VGM strengthen those relationships."

“Jeff stood out among a strong pool of candidates due to his unmatched experience and passion for the HME industry,” said Lindy Tentinger, President of VGM & Associates. “His leadership will be key in maintaining and growing our vendor relationships and in helping us deliver even greater value to our members and partners.”

Bowman has served on several industry boards, including the AAHomecare Board and its Executive Committee, HIDA’s LTC and Home Care Advisory Boards, and the University of Alabama School of Health Professions Advisory Board. His commitment to the HME industry is deeply personal, having witnessed firsthand the impact of quality HME care on his own family.

"The HME industry has been my passion for my entire career, so it's a tremendous honor to join a company that I know well and, at its core, is committed to the HME industry," Bowman shared. “It was important for me to be part of a company that I felt had the right culture, mission, and tremendous growth potential as we look to continue the excellence of supporting HME providers while we also deliver consistent and, in some cases, enhanced or new value to our partners like product manufacturers, distributors, technology companies, and more. I can't wait to get started, work with my new teammates, and make a difference for this industry."

Bowman lives in College Grove, Tennessee, with his wife of 27 years, Jacqalyn, and their two dogs, Willow and Athena. He has a son, Jake, who played football at Western Kentucky University and now works for AdaptHealth in Nashville, and a daughter, Jillian, a junior at Middle Tennessee State University and member of the women’s golf team. Jeff enjoys University of Tennessee football, following his daughter’s golf career, playing golf, and staying active.
