OPGA is now accepting nominations for the 2026 O&P Woman of the Year Award, recognizing exceptional women who are advancing the orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) profession, improving patient outcomes, and shaping the future of care.

Sponsored by Össur and presented annually by OPGA, the award honors women whose leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact on patient care, business growth, and clinical innovation.

Why This Award Matters in O&P

As the O&P industry continues to evolve, leaders who combine clinical excellence with innovation and advocacy play a critical role in improving outcomes and access to care.

“We’re proud to recognize the remarkable women whose work strengthens providers, empowers patients, and shapes the future of O&P,” said Jeff Kessler, Director of OPGA. “At its core, this award reflects the shared mission of O&P professionals: delivering better outcomes for O&P patients while advancing the future of care.”

Award Legacy: A Decade of Excellence

Now entering its 10th year, the award continues to spotlight industry leaders who are making meaningful contributions across the community.

The 2025 recipient, Fanny Schultea, exemplified the spirit of the award through her impact on:
