Would Care Program GuideVGM Wound Care is excited to announce the release of the Wound Care Program Guide

This comprehensive resource walks VGM members through whether or not a wound care program is the right decision for their business, getting started and developing a wound care program, and additional resources and contacts. A companion piece for this resource is also being developed that focuses on all the wound care vendor partners available to VGM members and how they can offer support in the wound care space. More information about this piece will be released soon.

“This Wound Care Program Guide is designed to help our members, who are part of something bigger, develop and grow their wound and skin care business,” says Heather Trumm BSN, RN, CWON, and director of VGM Wound Care. “The home medical equipment (HME) community provides patient-focused care every day. Implementing a skin and wound care program within your HME business means you are providing positive outcomes for your patients and touching lives. The home medical equipment community is definitely providing something bigger for their patients (and their community) when it comes to the entire health care continuum. Skin health affects each and every one of us and thus is a natural fit for the HMEs.”

VGM members are part of something bigger, which means they are part of a community that provides them with valuable connections, resources, education, services, and opportunities, and that is exactly what this guide is meant to do.

Members can download their own copy of the Wound Care Program Guide on the members-only portal.
