CRT Bill H.R. 1703 Advances Through Full Energy & Commerce Committee

Published in Government Relations on May 22, 2026

Earlier this week, we shared that H.R. 1703 advanced through the House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee. We are pleased to report that the bill has continued to gain momentum and has now successfully passed out of the full Energy & Commerce Committee unanimously following today’s markup.

During the markup, the committee considered several pieces of legislation, including H.R. 1703. Its passage marks a significant step forward, moving the bill to the next phase—consideration by the full House of Representatives. At this time, a timeline for a floor vote has not yet been announced.

A special thank you to Rep. John Joyce (R-PA) for his leadership on this legislation, and to Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA) for his continued support of the CRT community.

We, along with our industry partners, including NCART and AAHomecare, will continue to closely monitor the bill’s progress and keep members informed as updates become available.
