The O&P Woman of the Year Award, presented by OPGA and Össur, recognizes exceptional women who are advancing the orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) profession through leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient care. 

The 2026 winner will be announced during the AOPA National Assembly, Sept. 9-12, in Las Vegas. 

About the O&P Woman of the Year Award 

Now in its tenth year, the O&P Woman of the Year Award honors women across the orthotics and prosthetics profession who have made meaningful, lasting contributions in their field. 

From clinicians and certified prosthetist orthotists (CPOs) to business leaders, educators, and advocates, women are shaping the future of mobility, rehabilitation, and patient outcomes across the O&P industry. 

This award recognizes women who are:

  • Leading with innovation and clinical or business expertise 
  • Strengthening their organizations and communities 
  • Inspiring the next generation of O&P professionals
