Happy February. I hope 2023 is starting off strong for you and your practice. If you are anything like me, January and February tend to be months of excitement and focus. It’s the time to start putting into action all the long hours of planning and strategizing the goals and initiatives that you’ve set forth in the last few months. It's also the time to start looking at new opportunities to provide your practice with the types of savings and solutions to hit those objectives. To that end, I want to recommend a few exciting opportunities that your OPGA membership offers you.

The first is an opportunity for real savings with some very exciting news from VGM Insurance, the official business insurance partner of OPGA. They have just launched a proprietary worker’s compensation program to compliment their already best-in-class liability program. With almost 35 years’ experience working with the O&P community, VGM Insurance provides coverage for more O&P facilities than any other insurance provider. No other company understands the unique coverage issues our profession faces like VGM Insurance. The best part is that you can take advantage of this opportunity directly through VGM Insurance, or through your current broker or local agent. The next opportunity is a solution from a brand new OPGA vendor partner, TriOx Innovations and their ROSS liner cleaner. This product is an innovative and simple way to provide your practice and patients with a much safer, efficient, and convenient way to tackle the daily chore of cleaning their prosthetic liner. Not only does this product provide your patients with a convenient method of cleaning and deodorizing their liners, it doubles as an incredible new revenue stream for your practice. They are running an OPGA member-exclusive, 90-day risk-free trial to try it out in your practice with the opportunity to showcase the technology to your patients. Click here to check out the OPGA member portal for more details on how you can start providing this exciting new product in your practice today.

The last opportunity I want I want to share is a unique opportunity that centers around advocacy. OPGA is proud and humbled to once again support and host this year’s NAAOP George and Dena Breece Fellowship. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for an in-depth experience to learn about O&P policy, advocacy, and how one can make a real difference for our profession and the patients it serves. It is truly an amazing opportunity to learn from the best. You can learn more on the fellowship and the application process here

OPGA will continue to offer our members new and unique opportunities for savings and solutions on products and services you need to run your practice efficiently and profitably. Continue to keep an eye out for these types of opportunities in the coming months.

As always, thank you for being a part of OPGA and for all you do for your patients and our profession.
