One down and three to go!
Coming off a very successful three days last month in Dallas, U.S. Rehab is excited to continue its momentum with three more stops across the country!
Our focus and one of our key drivers to help support our U.S. Rehab Members is to continue to lead the way in Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) training, offering live tech training sessions and a new ATP Gateway Training Program in 2025. These programs provide hands-on experience and certification preparation for wheelchair repair technicians and aspiring Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs).
First let’s discuss our live tech training events that stretch for two full days!
The live tech training sessions are designed to equip wheelchair repair technicians with essential skills in manual and power wheelchair service and repair. Led by technical trainers from our very own key vendor partners, these sessions offer both basic and advanced tracks, covering everything from CRT equipment repair and technical training to troubleshooting and programming on both basic and advanced electronics. Furthermore, we go even deeper into discussions and presentations on adaptive seating and mobility evaluation. Finally, we cap off discussions with some great Q&A sessions on the proper repair documentation and correct insurance billing for reimbursement.
Servicing what you sell, doing it right the first time on the reimbursement process, and exceeding patient satisfaction with faster repairs is what drives these incredible two days of training and knowledge enhancement!
Finishing the week on the third day, we dive into our new ATP Gateway Training that prepares our attendees to become ATP Certified! The program is designed for repair technicians with at least three years of experience who are interested in becoming ATP certified. Our robust agenda covers the essentials such as assistive technology devices and many other knowledge topics. It is taught and led by leading expert instructors and certified ATPs. We discuss real world assistive technology scenarios and case studies all designed to give attendees resources to prepare for the RESNA ATP certification exam.
Okay, so you ask; where to next and how do I get on the attendee list?
Next stop, to the great state of Ohio!
We will be in Columbus September 9-11, followed by stops in Charlotte, NC, from October 7-9, and finishing our four-city tour in Salt Lake City from November 4-6.
