DMERT Group is setting the benchmark for DME and Complex Rehab repair training standards through industry collaboration. U.S. Rehab and FIOS DME Repair Training are teaming up to complete the in-person testing exams.
DMERT Level 1 will cover motors, electronics theory, joysticks, programming, batteries and other DME items. Level 1 will run from 8 am - 12 pm. Class size is limited to eight participants to ensure one-on-one intensive training.
DMERT Level 2 will cover advanced manual wheelchairs, power wheelchair seating repairs, programming and specialty controls and other CRT items. Level 2 will run from 1 pm - 5 pm. Class size is limited to eight participants to ensure one-on-one intensive training.
To obtain certification with the DMERT Group at each level, technicians must pass the online theory exam as well as the in-person competency exam. To find the online theory exam, please visit this site: https://shop.vgmu.com/u-s-rehab/dmert-group-training.
