Replacing a power mobility device (PMD) timely and accurately is essential as the beneficiaries who require these items cannot be without them. Whether the replacement is due to loss or irreparable damage during the 5-year reasonable useful life (RUL) or the original PMD has met the 5-year RUL, there are process and documentation requirements for each scenario.
