In a recent HME News article, Dan Fedor provides three important items for CRT providers to know about Medicare Advantage plans.
The three things that should be known about these plans include:
- What they’re promising Medicare beneficiaries
- MA plans are not providing the same services or timely and accurate reimbursement as Medicare, which is one reason MA plans are able to tout lower premiums
- Beneficiaries aren’t necessarily locked into them
