Washington, D.C. – September 2025 — A powerful few days of advocacy wrapped up in the nation’s capital as representatives from VGM Group, NCART, AAHomecare, and other key stakeholders in the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) industries met with lawmakers to address urgent policy concerns.

Adam Miller, representing VGM Group, joined Wayne Grau of NCART, Tyler Mahncke of VGM & Associates and U.S. Rehab, and dozens of CRT providers and users for a series of impactful meetings focused on advancing complex rehab legislation.

On day two, Adam Miller was joined by Ike Isaacson of VGM to meet with legislators about the competitive bidding proposal and advocate for HR 2005, the DME Relief Act.

The day concluded with an event honoring HME champion Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA), attended by AAHomecare and the ITEM Coalition, and other industry advocates. A photo from the event captured the spirit of unity and urgency that defined the week.

“We are at an all-hands-on-deck moment,” said Miller. “VGM Group, AAHomecare, NCART, the ITEM Coalition, and all stakeholders across the HME industry are working together to mobilize providers and encourage advocacy.”

The message was clear: Every conversation, phone call, and meeting with elected officials matters now more than ever. Industry leaders are urging providers to reach out, educate, and advocate to ensure continued access to life-changing equipment and services.
