Make your voice heard about how the CBP has affected your business.
In partnership with AAHomecare and industry leaders across the country, the DMEPOS community is coming together to ensure that small suppliers have a strong, united voice at the federal level. Collaboration is critical—because the challenges facing our industry don’t impact just one state or one company. They affect the entire network of providers who support millions of patients every day. By aligning our efforts, sharing our experiences, and elevating our concerns collectively, we strengthen the impact of our advocacy and increase the likelihood of meaningful action.
AAHomecare recently met with the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Advocacy, and they are actively looking for direct input from the states on how the CMS DMEPOS Competitive Bidding program and proposed RID framework are impacting small businesses. During that meeting, Assistant Chief Counsel Will Purcell specifically requested to hear directly from states about the real-world impact these policies are having on small DME suppliers.
How to Take Action:
“As members of the DMEPOS community, our strength lies in unity,” said Ike Isaacson, SVP Government Relations and Regulatory, VGM Government Relations. “The care we provide preserves independence, dignity, and access for millions. As challenges grow, so must our collective voice. Now is the moment to stand together—with purpose, integrity, and conviction—to protect our patients, our businesses, and the vital role we play in healthcare.”
When multiple states raise the same themes, SBA Advocacy pays attention. Your leadership is essential to creating that multistate signal. Thank you for taking action on behalf of this vital industry and the patients who depend on it.
