2023 O&P Woman of the Year Nominations Now Open

O&P Woman of the Year Nominations Now OpenAward recipient to be announced during AOPA National Assembly.

OPGA has announced that the nomination period for the 2023 O&P Woman of the Year Award is open.

Organized by OPGA, this annual award is open to all women who work in the profession. Nominators are encouraged to provide examples of how the nominee has made significant contributions throughout her career to serve her patients, community, business and the O&P profession.  

“Now in the seventh year, we are thrilled to continue recognizing the outstanding women in the O&P profession with the O&P Woman of the Year Award,” said Adam Miller, president of OPGA, a division of VGM & Associates. “We hope this award not only shines a light on women who contribute significantly to the O&P profession but helps promote the overall importance of the profession and the patients we serve every day.”

In 2022, Nina Bondre, CPO, Education Specialist with Ottobock Healthcare was selected from a group of outstanding women as the sixth O&P Woman of the Year. 

“On behalf of everyone at OPGA, we want to congratulate Nina on winning the 2022 O&P Woman of the Year Award,” said Miller. “Nina’s commitment to furthering her own education, while at the same time being committed to making O&P care more inclusive and attainable for patients, represents everything this award is about. Her contributions are helping move our profession forward – not just now, but into the future.” 

Nominations must be submitted by July 14 and can be made online at www.vgm.com/oandpwomanoftheyear. The 2023 O&P Woman of the Year Award winner will be selected by a committee of O&P professionals and announced during the AOPA National Assembly, held September 6-9 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
