Published in Orthotics & Prosthetics on March 09, 2023

EducationOPGA is excited to announce that members can now receive exclusive access to ten complimentary O&P courses, offered through VGM Education.

“OPGA is very grateful to have worked with VGM Education to build this platform to serve our members’ need for education while also enhancing the value of OPGA membership,” says Adam Miller, president of OPGA. “This offering is an exclusive benefit for OPGA members and adds significant value to membership.”

Worth over $400 in value, these courses provide members with resources to help with running a profitable and efficient O&P business. Topics include business ethics, customer service strategies, understanding HIPAA, developing a new employee orientation program, recruiting and retaining employees, safety in the workplace, behavior-based selling, and impactful questions to help you get the sale.

Each of these courses are The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) certified, and some are also American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) certified.

"OPGA is very excited to be able to offer our membership these courses that help members grow their O&P business,” continues Miller. “We have heard from several members that there is a major need for education relating to running a profitable and efficient business just as much as the need for clinical education. These ten courses are just the first step. We hope to continue working with VGM Education to further develop our educational offering.”
